An absolute scoop.
Reality TV Show – ‘Real Estate The Edge’ is launching and accepting casting applications in line with the Qld Real Estate Agents’ Summit.
I wrote a brief, submitted it to one network, was rejected, then decided to get busy with important things and not delusions of Reality TV superstardom. Lucky for me, the outline got into the hands of someone who decided to run with it, and they have put together the show and is currently in pre-production, casting and planning.
On the site, the show has the following on the ‘About The Show’ link
About the Show
‘Real Estate The Edge’ is a reality TV show, taking a group of 10 people (five brand new to real estate, and 5 experienced agents) and putting them through a process of training, listing, marketing, and negotiating of the sale of properties, and be voted out by a combination of industry experts in a panel and also their team mates ‘playing the game.’
The winner will receive their own Real Estate Agency, and the ability to hire as many of the ‘voted off’ contestants as they want, and continue the business as their own Multi Million Dollar business.
The participants will be thoroughly coached, trained and put through the paces of what it takes to start, build and run not only a real estate sales career, but to develop a business person’s mindset over the ensuing months so that a true business owner can be created to run the business long term.
It will be a gruelling and challenging exercise for the participants, as Glenn Twiddle, and a host of guest trainers, will be putting these 10 agents with ‘The Edge’ through their paces. Whoever makes it through will truly have ‘The Edge’ in their Real Estate career and business.
‘Real Estate The Edge’ will be filmed and set in Brisbane Queensland.

i am interested in your show and would like to be a participant
Got put on the back burner for the time being. Not dead but sleeping for now, haha. Stay on the list….
Sounds great, has it come off the burner yet?
still nothing moving. I don’t have time to do the ‘driving’ of pre production. And the team who were going to be just that got too busy in their real estate business. So again, really, still looking for someone to be the driving force.
