I am constantly asked for a list of books to get a real estate salesperson started, as I encourage so strongly, that one of the clues that successful people leave, is that they all read books on the subject of their career and success in general. Is it any wonder that the homes of successful people often have a library of books. Do you think they bought the library full of books AFTER they got successful or did they acculmulate so many books that when they bought the big house (or built as the case may be) that they NEEDED a library to accomodate the books they’d used to help them BECOME successful?
So here’s a nice list to start (there’s a few real estate specific books, so anyone in other fields, just delete them)

Norman Vincent Peale - (His stuff is very ‘thought and attitude’ based)
