A phone script that gets you an appointment

Hi, is (their name here) .
Yes/no/speaking, etc/
Ah, hi (their name), it’s (your name) here.
Has my name been mentioned to you recently / I’m not sure if my name rings a bell….
No problem. The reason for the call today (name) as you may be aware is that (your company) has recently started a brand new way of helping (your suburb/location) home owners with their investments and real estate needs. And we’re offering, as an introduction, completely free, membership to our _______club. Where you can, among other things, (insert best deal here).
What’s your email address and I’ll shoot you through the details?

and a rebuttal….

That’s OK, (name), we’ve found that this is the case with most people even before we rang. The call today (name) is only to offer you the club membership so you can (get the best offer), as of course, most people aren’t sitting around just waiting for companies to call them. What’s a good email address and I’ll send you the details.

For more info on this script and what it’s referring to, it will make more sense once you’ve listened to the ‘Massive Success’ program available at www.glenntwiddle.com.au

Have fun all

Cabo Wabo at noon is still a party

OK, this is a little off topic but I’m experimenting on adding video content to the ole blog. This was a trip I took to Cabo San Lucas at the Cabo Wabo last year, just after Van Halen was inducted into the hall of fame (onya Sammy and Mike for bothering to turn up, boo sucks to Dave, Ed and Alex).

Anyway, down at the Cabo Wabo this is the sort of thing that goes on at lunch time. We were special guests of Aaron Hagar and his Dad Sammy for this special invite only gig, and it was a ripper. This was the 16th Mar 2007 and it absolutely rocked and we were plastered by lunch time. (Sammy and crew do it annually at a cruise called ‘Are we having fun yet’)

Unfortunately those drinks they have down there called ‘Waboritas’ are the most potent alcohol in the world. I mean I can drink a bottle of Jim Beam and ok, I’m a little inebriated but not like what 8 of these things did to me.

Anyway, work hard, PLAY HARDER is the motto here.

What happens down in Mexico, stays in Mexico !!!

Another cool video with Sammy singing one of his best with footage of the Blue Angels planes.

Real Estate Sales people congregate here!!!

After training several groups in sales over the past few weeks, I’ve been asked so many times what the one secret is that is the one thing to guarantee real estate sales success.
Well, my friend Pat Mesiti, who I will talk into guest blogging before too long, inspired me to reply that there isn’t any one thing. But if I had to pick one, (and this I mentioned today at the REIQ), it is the ongoing education, reading, listening to cd’s, podcasts, etc with a view to adding to your education in your field.
So this is a commencement of a discussion to give some book reports of what you’ve learned from whatever books you’ve read, CD programs you’ve listened to, etc.
Feel free to post a short synopsis, recomendation, or a full blown review of something you’ve learned and share it with a community of fired up, intelligent, and hungry sales people all wanting to better their career.
And I’ll start by mentioning my friend Pat Mesiti again. Pat has taught me a bunch as a member of his Millionaire Mindset Club. And his guest speakers have certainly been top notch. One of Pat’s things is

If you use this (point to head)
Touch this (hand on heart)
You’ll get this (rub fingers together in a sign of $$$’s)

And I firmly am with him on this. Over the years I have helped so many people get what they want, and someone once said (don’t know who to quote here) but if you help enough people get what they want, you will always get everything you want and more. And I love that I am seeing the fruits of that attitude right now. I am living the high life in that I get paid really well to do things that I would do anyway if there was no money in it. Training people, ok, while I may not train some of the subjects I train at the REIQ to do with law etc, but I would train people in communication, sales, hypnosis, etc if there wasn’t great money in it (luckily for me there is). I would still practice and teach hypnosis if it was for free (again, luckily it pays darn well), and as for playing drunken guitar gigs, well, enough said.
So a big thanks to
Pat, Joe Vitale, Anthony Robbins, Michael Spillane[/tag-tec]and others for putting and keeping me on the path.

- Of course the most obvious tip, is you absolutely MUST BUY Massive Success in Real Estate, the best $50 you’ll ever invest in your career, or I’ll refund every cent. Click the link above and grab it before someone convinces me to put the price up. (I’ve already been advised it’s too cheap!!!)

Over to you guys……

The Coach - Stan Penny

Hi all,

I’m still figuring out this blog thing, but I came across this guy’s site overseas and I read his free stuff on real estate business and he seems to know what he’s talking about. In fact he’s mirrored a few concepts we used to use in our business, like calling our salespeople ‘Marketing Executives’ instead of ‘Agents’ and the like.

So check out his site at http://compass.mosthome.com/coaching_session_marketing_101/index.html

Have fun until next time. Work hard !!

 Glenn

PS - If you haven’t ordered ‘Massive Success’ yet, you best do so. It won’t be this cheap for much longer as I’m getting the feedback and testimonials I need more and more every day. So get yours while stil cheap at

Welcome to glenntwiddle.com.au blog

Hi all and welcome,
This is my first attempt at this weird little thing called blogging, so I hope my thoughts, insights, tips and occasional rambling will be of some interest to someone out there.
I guess first off, for those who don’t know me, allow me introduce myself and a little history.
I’m Glenn Twiddle, and currently I’m a sales trainer, hypnotist, NLP practitioner (whatever that is….seriously, more to come on the definition of that, or more importantly, the distinction between that and being a hypnotist, as I’m yet to really draw the line where one starts and the other stops…that being said I don’t know where to draw the line between the two of them and just being a good communicator, but that’s a discussion for another post), see what I mean, I may go off on a few tangents from time to time, but that’s ok, we’ll get where we need to go in the end.
I also moonlight as a singer/guitarist affectionately (or not) known as ‘Homer’ and I can be found churning out the rock at various venues around SE Qld on most weekends.
The cool thing is that I get paid quite well to do the things that I genuinely love doing, and would probably do even if there was no money in it. If they didn’t pay me to play I’d still do gigs, they are fun for me. Ok, the lugging in of a PA and gear etc isn’t a picnic, but the playing bit, that I often do for free when I go see other musicians like my mate, Nik Phillips.
If they didn’t pay for sales training, I’d probably still help out sales people from time to time. Ok, I might not teach compliance and law skills at the Real Estate Institute of Qld (REIQ) like I do now, but I’d still help out with the real skills.
And hypnosis, if they didn’t pay for that, I’d still do it, as the study of how nothing more than linguistic and physiological communication can have such an affect (or is it effect, must find out the difference between those words one day) on another astounds me, and I’ll continute my learning in this field until I leave this mortal plane (still haven’t figured where my beliefs are beyond yet either.)

So there you have it, welcome, subscribe if you feel like keeping up to date and commenting on my ramblings and I hope this blog is of some help to sales people, hypnosis students or clients, real estate people, or just interested friends.

Stay in touch and have fun,

Glenn Twiddle
